Privacy Policy

Orvyn Living ("we", "us", "the studio") operates orvynliving.com (the "Site"). This page explains what information is collected when you visit, how it's used, and the choices you have. We try to keep this short and human.

1. Information we collect

The Site itself collects very little. We do not run user accounts. We do not store gameplay data on a server — best-score values are written to your own browser's localStorage and never leave your device.

The following information is processed automatically by third parties (see below):

  • Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) for security and basic analytics, retained no longer than 30 days.
  • Cookies and similar identifiers used by Google AdSense / H5 Games Ads to serve and measure ads.
  • Anonymized usage analytics (page views, session duration, country) — aggregated, not tied to personal identity.

2. Cookies

We use a small set of cookies. They fall into two groups:

  • Essential — your cookie consent choice, your best scores, your accepted/dismissed UI states. These are stored in localStorage on your device and never transmitted.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense and the H5 Games Ads program use cookies to deliver and measure ads. You can decline these via the cookie banner on first visit, or any time on the Cookies page.

3. Advertising partners

We use Google AdSense and Google's H5 Games Ads program to monetize the Site. Google may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies via aboutads.info.

Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. When you decline advertising cookies, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized.

4. Children

Orvyn Living is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact hello@orvynliving.com and we'll delete it.

5. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you (very little — see above).
  • Request deletion of any personal information.
  • Withdraw consent for advertising cookies at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data retention

Server logs: 30 days. Anonymized analytics: 14 months. Advertising cookies: see Google's retention policies. Anything in your browser's localStorage stays until you clear it yourself.

7. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. We do not run a database of user data, so the surface area for breaches is intentionally small.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least seven days.
